Consultation on Social Inclusion and Child Poverty Action Plans

Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority is committed to Social Inclusion. The area of the National Park and Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority’s work present a range of potential benefits for excluded groups, including for health  and wellbeing. An independent Review highlighted areas of Authority activity for attention to increase inclusion and has guided the delivery of Inclusion action plans The next 2 year plan will start in April 2016. We are seeking input from representatives of potentially interested groups on the content of the draft Action Plan by  6 April 2016. We would welcome an opportunity to meet with your group to discuss how Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority can take action to bring the benefits of the National Park to socially excluded groups and individuals. A summary of consultation responses will be produced. In addition to any general points we welcome feedback on:

1. Are the four areas of Strategy focus (A,B,C,D) appropriate? Are there any other major areas of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority activity which you feel need a focus on inclusion?

2. Are the outcomes (the results we expect from the actions) appropriate and achievable?

3. Has your organisation or group taken part in any of the activities mentioned in the Action Plan? Do you have any feedback?

4. Do you have any partnership proposals for us which could benefit excluded groups and individuals?

Contact us if you require any further information, if you or your group require the documents in a different format, or if you would welcome meeting to discuss the Action Plan.
