Planning goes ‘Paperlite’

The Planning Department at Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority will become more sustainable and support the Government’s electronic agenda, by going ‘paperlite’ from 1st May 2018.

By reviewing our current working procedures we aim to provide a modernised and more efficient service.  All planning applications will now be dealt with by electronic means using improved technology. We already consult many of our statutory consultees electronically and the final stage of this process is to engage with all Community and Town Councils in the National Park in the same way.

Mel Doel, Chairman of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority said;

“It is fundamental for us at Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority to be efficient and sustainable.  The Government’s electronic agenda improves the working practice and use of our resources, as well as improving the effect we have on the environment.  We know our partners will be supportive in this positive and ‘green’ initiative.”
