Diamond People is a photographic portrait exhibition featuring twenty one pictures of just some of the great people who have helped make the Bannau Brycheiniog what it is today and tells the diverse story of the park.  The exhibition which was part of the National Park’s 60th year celebrations has toured around various venues and the pictures have been published within the National Press.

Photographer of the exhibition, Billie Charity from Hay-on-Wye said; “Working on this project has introduced me to breath-taking parts of the Bannau Brycheiniog I never knew existed, and also to some of the truly brilliant people who live and work there.”

Julian Atkins, CEO of Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority added; “Diamond People is a great exhibition that shows how much diversity and activity there is across Bannau Brycheiniog National Park; from Nepalese women assisting us with footpath maintenance, to our partnership with the National Trust to working with private businesses.  The Bannau Brycheiniog National Park has many different strands and this exhibition displays these multiple faces of the National Park clearly and artistically.”
