Captain Dhalindra KC of the Gurkha Wing (Mandalay) from the Infantry Battle School in Brecon came to the National Park Authority meeting to present a certificate and a Gurkha Khukuri, (a Ceremonial Nepali knife). The presentation was made to recognise the Authority’s help with the Nepal Earthquake appeal in 2015. The Authority was one of several centres in Brecon coordinating the collection and delivery of donations. Mel Doel, Chairman of the Bannau Brycheiniog National Park Authority and Counciller David Meredith pictured with Captain Dhalindra KC were delighted to accept the presentation.
