Thank you to everyone who responded to the Citizens’ Assembly form, it is very much appreciated.
The Assembly has now been formed and we hosted a series of short, online workshops in July 2021 to share insights and experiences about what matters to the Assembly members the most – as someone who lives, works or regularly visits the Brecon Beacons National Park.
This has proven to be very successful, and the National Park Authority will continue with the Citizens’ Assembly.
With that said, if there is an opening in the Citizens’ Assembly in the future and you would like to take part, please email us at NPMP21@beacons-npa.gov.uk or call and ask to speak to anyone in the Policy Team to register your interest. We are particularly interested in hearing the views of ‘citizens’ aged between 16 – 24 years old.
